Aretha Ayeh
100 words right…Well I’m currently studying Law and English literature at the University of Central Lancashire and I don’t really know what I can say about me in a hundred words - not because there’s nothing to say, and not because there’s too much - but apparently less is more, so I’m hoping if I write less you’ll want more. I took part in Soho Young Writers in 2004 and have since been writing and directing small scale productions up North. I’m also a current member of Youth Music Theatre: United Kingdom, National Youth Theatre and National Youth Music Theatre.

Shari Bollers
Shari Bollers has just completed a Degree in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University. She is about to undertake a MA in scriptwriting at Bath Spa in October. She would like to try her hands at all forms of scriptwriting but her true love is writing for theatre.  Her ideal piece of script would be to write a full length musical extravaganza. While a student at Bath Spa she was assistant writer on a young person writers group, which produces theatrical work by children aged between 9-16. She has just completed a placement at Talawa Theatre Company which has helped salivate her taste for theatre further.
Sharon Brennan
Sharon Brennan has been writing this and that since she was a very young girl. Just for fun she’s been writing short plays and stories over the last year or so, and has just quit her job as a PR manager to start an MA in Journalism. So it’s fair to say that her writing styles are fairly diverse. Sharon is very much looking forward to the rest of the year being all about writing and new ideas

Elise Hearst
Elise is an Australian playwright currently living in London. In her hometown, Melbourne, she co-runs KumQuat Theatre, an independent theatre company. In 2005, Elise was an Australian delegate at World Interplay in Townsville, Australia. Since her arrival in the UK she has had work produced at Theatre 503 (Tough Love), The Hampstead Theatre (On the Threshing Floor - extract, DIRTYLAND - extract), and has partaken in the Royal Court's YWP course in 2006 and the invitation group in 2007. Elise also took part in 100 words last year at the Soho Theatre.
Tom Henry
HAPPY. Warm at heart. Soft to touch. Slow to anger. Quick to laugh. Scared of being old enough to know better.  Excitable. Passionate. Loves his family very, very, very, much. Loves to cook and to eat. Loves to cook and eat with his family in his kitchen.  Spends way too much time on Facebook. Is always dreaming of something or someone.  Really likes how he looks in a suit but hardly ever wears them.  Lives in Leeds on a farm and rides horses. Played rugby for a long timebefore he grew up and got too small. Loves to write.
Steven Hevey
Steven is a graduate of the Soho and Royal Court Young Writers Programme.  Resident writer for the Yaller Skunk Theatre Company he is currently represented by PFD. In August this year he was shortlisted for Paines Plough's Future Perfect group.
Nimer Rashed
Nimer Rashed was born in London. In 2006, he won the Sir Peter Ustinov Television Scriptwriting Award for his script The Great McGinty at the International Emmy Awards in New York, and his 10-minute play Itchycoo Park was a winner of Soho Theatre’s Westminster Prize. In 2007, he was named a winner of the decibel Penguin Prize, and his piece Albert Finney’s Smile will be published by Penguin in November.  Nimer took part in last year’s 100 Words project, and this year hopes to write something that stretches convention, challenges prejudice, and fosters the audience’s sense of commonality. With jokes.
