Encourage young people to expand their knowledge through creativity;
Provide opportunities for young people to connect with their peers
in another country;
Give an insight into cultural similarities and differences through
language;
Seed lasting links between organisations in China and the UK;
Further the development of China-UK cultural relations.
There are two programmes - an artist development programme for aspiring
young writers aged 18 to 25 who want to write professionally for the
stage and screen, and a creative language learning programme that targets
young people aged 11 to 18 learning Mandarin in the UK and English in
China.
